Lets describe the Deck Constructor layout first:1. This is the part of the Deck Constructor where the cards of your Main Deck are showed. A Duelist's Main Deck is the pile of at least 40 to 60 cards, placed on the Deck Zone. The Main Deck is, essentially, all the cards the duelist will be playing with in Duel. This Deck may contain all of the Trap, Spell and Monster Cards one duelist may be using, with the exception of Fusion Monsters and Synchro Monsters, which are placed on the opposite end of the main Deck Zone in the Extra Deck. Whenever a card effect is activated that lets you search your Deck and select a card(s) to place in your hand, on the field or in the Graveyard, you should always shuffle your Deck to maintain fair play.
2. This zone is called Side Deck. A Side Deck is a collection of between 1 and 15 cards, separate from the Main Deck. The Side Deck is used in Matches between Duels, to alter the contents of the Main or Extra Deck. Previously, the Side Deck could not be used to alter the contents of the Extra Deck, though this has been changed. This is done to better suit a strategy against an opponent's Deck.
3. This is the Extra (Fusion) Deck part of the Deck Constructor. The Extra Deck (previously referred to as "Fusion Deck") is a Deck where Fusion Monsters and Synchro Monsters are stored during a Duel. They are separate from the Main Deck, and you can search through it to find a Fusion Monster or Synchro Monster that you need. There is a 15-card limit to the Extra Deck, regardless of how many Fusion Monsters and/or Synchro Monsters you include. The "Maximum of 3 Rule" for cards of the same name still applies.
4. This is where the cards available to chose from are displayed. From this zone you can drag & drop cards to the desired Deck zone.
Now lets describe some bars and buttons that can be seen and used in the Deck Constructor:If you have doubts about a card ruling then simply click this button and the rulings for the selected cards will appear. Rulings for some cards ar still missing, but they will be filled in eventually.
This buttons will delete all the cards in you Main, Side and Extra Deck in the currently selected Deck Slot. It is used when you wanna get rid of a Deck you are not using anymore and want to replace it with a different one, so instead of drag & drop every single card over the bin icon you can simply delete them all by just one click.
This menu allows you to switch between Deck Slots. You can have up to 10 decks stored in KCVDS.

Frequently
Asked
Questions
Question: I see no cards in the Deck constructor
Answer: Click on Show Set or do a Search for cards. If nothing comes up after trying those and its your first time using KCVDS report it. If you have been using KCVDS for months, might be firewall issue or report it to make sure it is not a server issue.
Question: My card pictures are black/missing. Help!
Answer: The reason for this is because people just run the KCVDS.exe file off their desktop or do not have the rest of the files that originally came with the setup. Make sure you have the Full Setup of KCVDS 1.21c installed which can be found HERE.
Try to use the KCVDS updater whenever possible.
IF you did a manual update make sure you put the KCVDS.exe file into the RIGHT FOLDER with the rest of the FULL SETUP!!
Example location:
C:\Program Files\Kaiba Corp VDS\ <----- Put in folder. Do not run KCVDS.exe off desktop! (make a shortcut instead to the desktop)
Question: Cards are missing/new cards?
Answer: Some cards are missing from the database because they have not been added yet. KCVDS tries to stay on the same page as the latest USA TCG card sets. Due to my lack of time and lack of tools I have created is the reason why there are long delays in card updates in the database.
