KCVDS and DMG[DuelMonstersGenesis] and Hamachi explanation

QUESTION: HOW DO I ADD/SUBTRACT/ROLL DICE/FLIP Coin in KCVDS?
ANSWER: open up the chat and type this out in the box and hit enter
/add xxx (x=number ) to Add Life points
/sub xxx (x=number ) to Subtract Life points
/dice (Toss Dice once)
/coin 1 (Toss Coin once)
/coin 3 (Toss Coin 3 times)

Start off by visiting --> this <-- page. Complete this forum and submit your application and you'll have a byond key.

After you have your key you will need to download and install byond --> Here <--

Once you have byond installed you must log in to the byond pager. Once you've done so you can join games two ways. The first is to join games off of the hub.

Click on the play live button and it will show you this screen:

You will now choose the server you want to play on. You can pick any server you want and you'll have plenty of selection so i have no idea which server you'll choose.

Once you've joined truth's server you'll officially be logged in to DMG.

Working this fancy DMG thingy

This guide will be broken in to several parts. Here's some kind of half-assed category dooflich:

1) General game functions
2) Editing decks
3) Dueling
4) Map
5) Rules (I put them at the end because I know you won't read them)

1) General game functions

You start off by using the arrow keys to move and you use the mouse to interact with the game world. It's pretty straightforward.

Here is what DMG looks like. Everything will be labed with a number and it's corresponding explanation will be below.

1: The game world. This is where your character will be and it's where you'll start or watch duels.

2: The chatbox. The blue button at the bottom is "worldsay" (server wide), the red button is "say" (screen wide), and the black box is the command window (ignore this). This is where you'll do your socializing with your fellow DMGers.....don't be a ****er.

3: Emote. Ignore this.

4: PM options. This is where you can set certain PM and chat options like blocking people and sending Private Messages. You can also initiate PM's by clicking on the small square avatar next to peoples names in the chatbox.

5: List Players. Lists all current players and moderators on the server.

6: Toggle PM. It's toggles your PM's obviously (turns them on and off).

7: List staff. Ignore this.....the staff are idiots.

8: Toggle worldsay. Turns worldsay on and off.....use it when people are spamming and being douchenozzles.

9: Status bar: displays a players name and key when you hover over a players icon with your mouse. It also works on cards.

10: Avatar. Should be obvious.

11: Deck belt. Click this to fiddle with the decks you currently have. You may have a maximum of 30 decks.

1: Start duel. This lets you select what deck to use and then raises your duel disk. If you only have one useable deck then it automatically raises your duel disk.

2: Edit Deck. This opens up the deck editor and it's how you make decks.

3: Duel Runner. Ignmore this.

4: Watch Duel. Opens a window and gives you a list of all available on-screen duels to spectate.

Everything here is self explanatory and the other two options at the top are useless to most players.

2) Editing Decks

In the last section you saw how to enter the deck editor. Do so now and it will look like this:

1: New Deck. Click this to start and name a new deck entry.

2: Save deck. This will save the progress of whatever deck you were building at the time. DO THIS OFTEN.

3: Load Deck. Use this to load and edit a deck you previously made or picked up.

4: Search. This will bring up the card search window and it looks like this:
*NOTE: You MUST click the "OK" button to start your search. The enter key will not work.

5: Ace Card. Drag a card from your deck to this spot to set it as your ace card. Id you do this then you're a faggot.

6: Exit. This makes magical butterfly fairies appear and start raping you.

7: Side Deck. This is where the cards in your side deck go.

8: Extra Deck. This is where the cards in your extra deck go (fusions and synchros).

9: Main Deck. This is where the cards in your Main deck go.

10: Found cards. This is where the cards you search for get displayed.

11: ABPF. I have no ****ing idea what this is.

The Deck editor has a drag and drop interface. To add cards in the search tab to your deck you simply drag and drop them in to your main deck or side deck window. To remove cards from your deck you must double click them. Be SURE to SAVE your deck when you're done making it.

3) Dueling

To initiate a duel you must be exactly 5 squares away from someone and FACING them when you raise your duel disk. they must also raise their duel disk.

Duel commands:

1: Number of cards in your hand

2: number of cards in your deck

3: Number of cards in your graveyard

4: Number of cards removed from play

5: Phase button. Use this to switch phases during your turn.

6: Deck tab. use this to manipulate cards in your deck. (adding cards to your hand for instance)

7: Extra deck tab. Same as above.

8: Commands. This is the tab your regular commands are stored in (the ones you have when you're not dueling)

9: Tag duel. Use this tab to edit tag duel settings
*NOTE: To start a tag duel you must be facing south and there needs to be a LOT of room below you. you can check to see if there is enough room by using the "toggle tag marker" command.

*Note 2: Some tabs are not listed here because they only become visible under certain conditions. For instance the graveyard tab is invisible unless you have cards in your graveyard.

You can also use the duel disk for some in game commands:

1: Card zones obviously.

2: Graveyard and RFG. Click this area to view your opponents graveyard or RFG pile.

3: Deck. Click this to draw your cards.

4: Life points. Click this to edit your life points.

Other duel options:

1: Activate speed world. Starts a speed duel. Derp.

2: Play janken. It's rock paper scissors.

3: Make counter. Use this to make turn counters and such for cards like gold gold sarcophagus.

4: Flip coin. should be obvious.

5: Roll dice. Should be JUST as obvious.

6: Lowers your duel disk.

1: Show hand. Shows your opponent your hand

2: Random select. Randomly selects a card in your hand and shows it to your opponent.

3: Send cards from hand. Sends cards from your hand to a variety of places (usually the graveyard or RFG).

1: Pick up card. Picks up the top card from your deck and shows it to your opponent.

2: Show last card(s). This shows the last cards drawn.

3: Send cards from deck.....(either to the graveyard or RFG)

4: view top card(s). Views the top cards of your deck. You can specify a number.

5: Show top cards. Same as above but your opponent can see them too.

6: arrange top cards. Obvious.

7: Reverse deck. Obvious

8: Random select. Randomly selects a card in your deck.

That's it for the relevent duel commands. The duel interface is the same as the deck editor in that you can drag and drop most things. The rest is done via clicking and selecting from the option list that pops up when you select a card. I'm not going to screen shot and lable these options because they're all self-evident and there are a ********-ton of them. Just look around and you'll figure out what they do.
